Alone Cologne - SBS

AGENCY: JACK NIMBLE
CLIENT: SBS
DIRECTOR: ADAM WISE

Alone constants spend 6 weeks in the absolute wilderness. You have nothing but yourself.

We could never expect audiences to be able to envision or truly understand the pain, but they could smell it.

The idea was an ode odour, Alone Cologne.

We would create and bottle up what 6 weeks of fish guts, BO, mud, grass and sweat would smell like.

Working with a perfume maker, we tried and tested the odour until it was perfectly disgusting.

A man smells a bottle of cologne labeled 'Alone Cologne' with the subtitle 'An Ode to Odour' on a reflective surface.
A perfume bottle labeled "Alone Cologne" placed on rocks near a body of water, with mountains and cloudy sky in the background.
